We have been on Capital Coil’s newsletter blasts for a while, and when our regular coil supplier couldn’t ship an order on time, we looked to them to see how they would compete. As a service company, our replacements are generally based on emergency conditions, and the great people at Capital Coil provided fast & friendly assistance, at a better price than their competitors, with much better lead times. Capital Coil is now our regular coil supplier.
I’m a commercial account manager with one of the major OEM’s, and we experienced a significant problem with one our coil facilities. When I initially was awarded the bid on the project, I quoted a 4-5 week lead time only to be told by my production head that lead times had been extended to 11-12 weeks. This was for one of my best customers, and that new time frame was completely unacceptable as you would imagine. Without a plan B, I was referred to Capital Coil by one of my co-workers who had used them in the past, and they literally saved my relationship with my customer. I had a quote and submittals on my desk within an hour after reaching out to them and placed an order with Capital Coil the very next day. They are now my go-to for any coil replacement projects because they were quick and easy to work with. I’d highly recommend them for replacement projects.
In February of 2021, I was in a major bind as the entire state of Texas seemingly froze at once. Every mechanical contractor, service manager, head of maintenance & HVAC manufacturer’s reps was pressed into immediate action because of this extremely serious emergency. I was tasked with procuring (5) new chilled water coils that had burst at a local hospital. I don’t do too much replacement work, so after contacting the OEM and finding out that they could not help in a timely manner, I thought I was out of options. A friend/co-worker suggested that I look at custom coil replacement manufacturers, and the first (2) companies that I had reached out to had no quick-ship availability, and a standard lead time of 13-14 weeks. I decided to try Capital Coil after I came across it’s blog, and they were the answer to all of my prayers. Not only did they still offer quick-ships, but I had a quote and submittals within 20 minutes of hanging up the phone after a single call. Due to Capital Coil’s response time and understanding of my situation, I decided to place an order that same day. Every facet of this order, from the time of my initial call to the final installation, went as quick and smooth as humanly possible. I can’t think of a reason why anyone would look to use a company other than Capital Coil & Air!!
I had an order to replace (75) Trane hot water booster coils, but Trane was not able to offer them with .035″ tube wall thickness & .010″ fin thickness. Another sales rep in my office had read several of Capital Coil’s posts on LinkedIn and suggested that I try them. I did not even know that there was a replacement market for OEM coils, so I was very surprised that they could accommodate all of our requirements, and do it on a quick-ship if needed – another option that I was not aware of prior to this project! I received the quote and submittals that same day and decided to place my order on a (15) day quick-ship the following morning. All (75) coils shipped in (15) days as promised, and my customer was thrilled that I was able to get this replacement project completed so quickly and without a single mistake.
